Lifting and rigging product manufacturer Nobles has entered into a long-term strategic alliance with industrial hardware supplier Atom to improve customer access and reduce costs.
As part of the alliance, Nobles will be Atom’s exclusive supply partner of lifting and rigging products for resale throughout Australia.
In addition, Nobles has appointed Atom as Nobles exclusive industrial distribution partner for Nobles-manufactured and third-party lifting and rigging products and services.
The partnership aims to enable better sales support, a greater product range and improved regional service to customers around the country.
Atom Executive Chairman Jason Johnson said the company is pleased to be working with Nobles.

“To access their extensive lifting and rigging product range, specialist technical knowledge and in-field technical services will benefit existing and new customers alike,” he said.
“Atom is looking forward to strong lifting & rigging category growth over the next few years by further satisfying our customers’ product and service needs in this important category.”
With its national network of unique Industrial and Safety Walkthrough Warehouses, Atom is expected to quickly become one of Nobles’ largest customers and over time boost Nobles product and service sales growth long term.

When Atom branches are stocked with Nobles products later in 2020, there will be a national sales launch campaign. At this point Nobles will be directing their existing counter sales customers to Atom locations, where customers will have access to the same range of Nobles existing lifting and rigging equipment, as well as Atom’s broader Industrial and Safety range of products.
The two companies are working to enable product sourcing, sales training, catalogue development, marketing support and general preparations to ensure the seamless rollout of this new partnership. Both businesses are working towards full operation in the December quarter 2020.
